Since 1993, the Ludinovokabel plant has been designing and manufacturing cable and wire products that meet the highest quality standards. With its own 22,000 square meter production facility and a team of 500 qualified employees, the plant is among the leaders in the Russian cable market.

According to the Electrokabel Association, the Ludinovokabel plant consistently holds high positions in key segments:

• 14% of the aluminum power cable market.

Lamitech: high-tech energy efficiency in Russia

The Lamitech plant, located in Uglich, Yaroslavl Region, is a leading Russian manufacturer of next-generation energy-efficient cables for high-voltage power lines.

Continuity of generations

The Russian production facility was founded in 2013 by the legendary Belgian company LAMIFIL, which has been operating in the market since 1929. A world-class engineering school became the foundation of the facility. Today, the plant has not only maintained its expertise but also strengthened it by joining the Ludinovokabel group of companies and receiving a new name – Lamitech.

Inheriting the expertise and relying on the resources of the Ludinovokabel group, Lamitech manufactures products capable of solving highly complex problems.

Ahead of its time technologies

Lamitech specializes in the production of high-voltage bare wires, utilizing unique design solutions:

• The use of Z-shaped and trapezoidal wires in the outer layers ensures increased mechanical strength and a reduced specific weight.
• The use of modern composite materials in the supporting core significantly increases the transmission capacity of power lines and reduces energy losses during transmission.

Gomelkabel: from soviet GOSTs to global standards

Gomelkabel JSC is the oldest company in our group, dating back to 1958 and located in the Republic of Belarus. The plant has not only absorbed strong production traditions but has transformed them into a benchmark for 21st-century quality.

Today, Gomelkabel is a modern manufacturing facility with an impeccable reputation for producing high-quality products.

The plant’s key specialization is winding and enamel wires for electric motors and transformers:

• Copper and aluminum;
• Round and rectangular cross-sections;
• With various types of insulation: enamel, paper, fiberglass, film, and combined.

Gomelkabel also produces wire of various profiles, as well as aluminum and steel-aluminum wires for overhead power lines.

The plant’s absolute priority is reliability and strict adherence to standards. The highest level of product quality has been repeatedly recognized by the state: the company is a laureate of the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Belarus for achievements in quality.

 

Alhimet: wire for durable structures

The Alhimet plant (launched in Lyudinovo, 2020) is a modern production facility that meets the construction industry’s needs for high-quality low-carbon wire.

The product’s main advantage is its protective TsAM-coating.

This coating is similar to the global standard galfan: a zinc alloy with 5% aluminum and micro-additives of mischmetal. This coating significantly increases the service life of products, even in aggressive environments.

Alhimet wire offers increased corrosion resistance while maintaining product ductility. The galfan coating is 2-3 times more resistant to corrosion than traditional zinc coating, but with a lower coating density (e.g., 80 g/m² instead of 240 g/m² for zinc). The lamellar microstructure and reduced coating density ensure corrosion resistance while maintaining product ductility, which is critical for the production of wire, gabions, welded mesh, and cable armor—products that are subject to bending, drawing, and profiling.
